All feeds use a two-step token-based authentication. Your API key and secret are exchanged for a session token via a single GET request. That token is then included directly in the URL path of every subsequent request. No headers are required. See the API documentation for the full authentication flow and code examples.
All feeds return structured JSON via REST API. Responses are paginated for large result sets using start and limit parameters. A bulk ZIP download is also available for the Domain Activity feed for those who prefer to ingest the full daily dataset locally.
Domain activity data is sourced from gTLD zone files, which are updated daily. New domains typically appear in the feed within 24 hours of registration. This is not a real-time stream but a daily batch feed reflecting the state of the zone files at the time of processing.
Yes. Because SSL/TLS certificates are logged via Certificate Transparency logs regardless of TLD, the certificate feed covers both gTLD and ccTLD domains. This makes it the only CodePunch feed that provides visibility into ccTLD domain activity. Coverage depends on whether the domain has provisioned an SSL/TLS certificate.
